There are many shops on Dyer Street near the motel. Albertson’s Market, Big 8 Food Store, a Neighborhood and a full-size Walmart…even a Sam’s Club. Not to mention dollar stores, clothing stores, auto parts stores, cell phone stores, tire stores, and banks (need an ATM?).
If you are going on to Fort Bliss, be sure to visit Freedom Crossing, the first open-air shopping mall on a U.S. military base. Featuring many upscale restaurants, banking establishments, and nationally known chain stores selling everything from designer clothing to jewelry to wine and fine cigars.
